Meet the Founder
Abi Chalkley
Lead Practitioner & Founder
With a deep passion for early years education and years of hands-on experience in childcare settings, I founded Natures Nest Kingswood to create the kind of environment I believe every child deserves one that is calm, thoughtful, and rich with opportunity.
My journey in early years education has taught me that the most meaningful learning happens when children feel secure, respected, and free to explore. That's why I've designed every aspect of Natures Nest to support exactly that.
I hold recognised early years qualifications and am committed to ongoing professional development. But beyond credentials, what drives me most is the joy of watching each child discover something new about themselves and the world around them.

Our Philosophy
Montessori-inspired, nature-led
We believe that children are naturally curious, capable, and creative. Our role is to provide the right environment and gentle guidance for them to discover, learn, and grow in their own time.

Inspired by Montessori principles, we observe each child's interests and developmental stage, then create opportunities that build on their natural curiosity. Every child learns at their own pace, and we celebrate that.

Nature is our greatest classroom. From watching seeds grow to exploring textures in the garden, children develop a deep connection with the natural world that supports their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Children learn best by doing. Our environment is filled with carefully chosen, natural materials that invite exploration from wooden puzzles to sensory bins filled with natural treasures.
