Our Environment

Spaces designed for wonder

Every corner of Natures Nest has been thoughtfully designed to inspire curiosity, calm the mind, and support your child's natural development.

Indoor Spaces

Calm, organised, and inviting

Our setting features three thoughtfully designed nests. The Gathering Nest (Dining/Kitchen), the heart of the home, where children connect, share, and take part in everyday routines. The Discovery Nest (Living/Reading Area), a calm, inviting space for imagination, Montessori-inspired exploration, and creative play with natural, open-ended materials. And the Garden Nest, a therapeutic outdoor space for gardening, sensory play, and hands-on learning, featuring the Mud Kitchen and Potion Lab.

You'll find natural materials throughout wooden toys, wicker baskets, real plants, and tactile fabrics. Each area is purposefully arranged at child height, encouraging independence and free choice.

  • Montessori-inspired learning stations
  • Cosy reading and quiet corner
  • Creative arts and messy play area

Outdoor Learning

Nature is our greatest classroom

Our outdoor area is where the magic truly happens. Children have daily access to our garden and nature space, where they can dig, plant, observe wildlife, and let their imaginations run wild.

We believe in all-weather learning puddles are for jumping in, mud is for making pies, and even a rainy day brings wonderful opportunities for discovery.

  • Den building and imaginative play
  • Bug hunting and nature observation
